Chalet La Tassionnière Terms & Conditions

1. This agreement
The following booking conditions form the basis of your Holiday Agreement with Peakchalets. They set out our respective rights and obligations and you should read them carefully before confirming your booking.

2. Company Details
Peakchalets.com and Peakchalets.co.uk are trading names of De Vries Properties, registered in France No.489501775.
The registered address is:
La Tassonniere, St Jean D’aulps, 74430, FRANCE.

3. Booking
The holiday is confirmed as booked when Peakchalets dispatches written confirmation that the booking form, together with the deposit (or full balance) has been received.

4. Correspondence
All correspondence shall take place between Peakchalets and the party leader. He/she shall be responsible for all payments for the party as a whole.

5. Your Payment
A deposit of 100 Euros per person must be made at the time of booking and the remaining balance must be received by at least 8 weeks prior to departure. For bookings made 8 weeks or less before departure, full payment is required at the time of booking. We take payment in Euros and you can pay by either direct bank transfer, a euro cheque (made payable to De Vries Properties) or by most credit/charge/debit cards. If payment is not received in full and on time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and charge the cancellation charges set out in condition 6 below.

6. Cancellations
All cancellations must be notified in writing to Peakchalets. The following charges will apply:
Prior to 8 weeks before departure – loss of deposit.
8-4 weeks before departure – 50% of the total holiday cost
4-2 weeks before departure – 75% of the total holiday cost
Under 2 weeks before departure – 100% of the total holiday cost.

7. Damages
Any damages must be paid for in full, prior to leaving the chalet.

8. Your insurance
We strongly recommend that you take out winter sports travel and medical cover at the time of booking your holiday to ensure full protection, including cancellation cover. Standard holiday insurance is not always sufficient for mountain holidays.

9. Our Liability
We shall not be liable for any loss, delay or costs incurred arising from circumstances outside our control (including weather, traffic and snow conditions) Whilst Peakchalets staff may suggest routes and activities, they are not mountain guides. Therefore clients undertake all activities entirely at their own risk.

10. Complaints
In the unlikely event of a problem occurring during the holiday, please raise this with us directly so that it may be resolved immediately.

11. Liability for links from our website
Links provided on our website to other companies websites (such as airlines, equipment hire, tourist information) are provided purely for your convenience. We can accept no liability for any information provided on them or for any services you may choose to obtain from them, which you do so entirely at your own risk.
