Winter
A winter holiday based in St Jean d’Aulps gives you the chance to ski and snowboard the largest inter-linked ski area in the world covering 14 resorts, 650kms of piste, 208 lifts, superb snow parks and over 100 mountain restaurants.

The benefit of our location is that, being central to the Portes du Soleil, we can pick and choose the best place to ski on any given day based on the snow or weather conditions, made even more accessible with our free shuttle service.

So in short, La Tassionnère has easy access to a vast skiing area, we are only 5 minutes from the resort of La Grande Terche. A 10 minute drive to Morzine, from where you could access the Pleiney cable car taking you across to Les Gets. The Ardent ski lift is also a 10 minute drive which gives you the easiest access to the purpose built resort of Avoriaz and the quiet open pistes of Champery, Les Crosets and Morgins in Switzerland with its breathtaking views of the Dents du Midi.

Ski Lessons
With regards to ski lessons, you can use the French ski school locally in La Grande Terche, or at Les Lindarets which gives you access to the wider area of the Portes du Soleil circuit.

Ski Hire
We can organise your ski equipment to be delivered to the door! No queuing in the shops, Ski Mobile has a large range of the latest skis & boards that they bring to the chalet in their van. The Portes du Soleil offers an incredible ski area.
• 288 ski runs spanning France and Switzerland
• 207 ski lifts
• 9 snow parks
• Over 240km of cross-country skiing.

La Grande Terche
• 10 lifts, 1 gondola, 2 chairlifts, 6 draglifts
• 34kms of green, blue and red runs, ideal for beginners. Discover the wonderful Roc d'Enfer Tour! 20km ski slopes in a natural and protected environment.
